According to the details, the conflict is between power division and K-electric on the payments of Rs66 trillion from 2013. The government discos are double from the subsidy given to K-electric. This money is in revolving credit on which government is paying heavy interest rate.
IMF told the prime minister Shehbaz Sharif that this problem is not being solved from 10 years. K-electric has to pay power dues of sui southern gas and national transmission and dispatch company.
In this regard, K-electric stated that the payments will be given if the Karachi water and sewerage board will give money.
