Iran expresses interest in further importing meat, rice from Pakistan
Reza Amiri-Moghaddam during a meeting with Minister for Industries and Production and Food Security Rana Tanveer says said the Iranian people are fond of Pakistani kinnow.
Islamabad: Iran on Saturday expressed interest in further importing meat, rice and other agricultural products from Pakistan.
The interest was conveyed by the Iranian Ambassador to Pakistan Reza Amiri-Moghaddam during a meeting with Minister for Industries and Production and Food Security Rana Tanveer in Islamabad.
The Iranian Ambassador said the Iranian people are fond of Pakistani kinnow. He said during the expected visit of the Iranian President to Pakistan, an MoU on livestock quarantine and plant protection is expected to be signed between the two countries.
In his remarks, the Minister for Industries and Production said Pakistan and Iran enjoy strong relations and both the countries can work on industrial cooperation.
The Iranian Ambassador said they want to promote close cooperation with Pakistan in all the areas.
