Section 144 imposed in Mardan on Eid-ul-Fitr
Violation will be prosecuted under Section 188 of the Pakistan Penal Code (PPC).
Mardan: On the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr, section 144 was imposed in Mardan across the district for public interest.
Deputy Commissioner Mardan Fayyaz Khan Sherpao issued a declaration. According to which aerial firing, fireworks, toy-like weapons, use and sale of black glasses, bathing in canals and one-wheeling were banned throughout the district.
The statement said that Section 144 will be enforced immediately across the district and will remain in force for 10 days. Violation will be prosecuted under Section 188 of the Pakistan Penal Code (PPC).
Deputy Commissioner Mardan Fayaz Khan Sherpao issued a letter to all assistant commissioners including the district police chief for necessary action.
