Assets Case: Court suspends ECP summoning notice to Ali Amin
The court issued a notice to the Election Commission and sought its response.
Peshawar: The Peshawar High Court (PHC) Tuesday has suspended the summoning notice issued by the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) to Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Ali Amin Gandapur and sought a response from the Commission.
The Election Commission sent a summons notice to Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur in the assets case.
A two-member bench of PHC comprising Justice Atique Shah and Justice Shakeel Ahmed suspended the notice on the request of Ali Amin during the hearing of the case.
The lawyer of Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Advocate Sikander Shah appeared in the court.
The petitioner's lawyer told the court that the Election Commission has issued a notice to Ali Amin Gandapur and directed him to appear today.
