During the interview, Babar fielded various questions, ranging from his career highlights to insights about AB de Villiers himself.
However, a video posted on YouTube sparked controversy when an Indian user named Rithik Guroo left a mocking comment about Babar Azam's English proficiency, saying, “AB, it's difficult to control my laughter after hearing Babar Azam's English,”.
In a poignant response, AB de Villiers came to Babar's defense, emphasizing that Babar's command of English surpasses his own Urdu skills.
