Islamabad court fixes June 7 on Bushra Bibi's plea in Iddat case
Imran Khan's wife asks court to fix appeals for hearing this week
Islamabad: A district and sessions court in the federal capital on Tuesday fixed the hearing on June 7 of the appeals of PTI founder and former prime minister Imran Khan’s wife Bushra Bibi against conviction in the Iddat case.
The application earlier moved the court and sought an early hearing of her appeals filed against her conviction in the iddat case. In her petition, the former first lady argued that the appeals against conviction are scheduled for hearing in the local court, requesting it to fix the appeals for hearing this week.
The Bushra’s plea was filed a day after the Islamabad High Court (IHC) accepted District and Sessions Judge Shahrukh Arjumand's request seeking transfer of the iddat case to another court.
