The greenback, however, gains five paise in the open market

Karachi: The Pakistani Rupee appreciated six paise against the US dollar in the interbank trading on Tuesday. However, the local unit lost five paise in the open market.
According to the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP), the local unit was tarded at Rs278.30 after gaining six paise against the greenback. The dollar was closed at Rs278.36 in the interbank on Monday.
The dollar was traded at Rs279.59 after gaining five paise against the local currency.
