PTI behind Bannu incident, says Ata Tarar
Information Minister blames that PTI was reason of instability in Pakistan
Islamabad: Information Minister Ata Tarar stated on Sunday that PTI was the mastermind behind the Bannu incident and accused them of always being in search of casualties.
Speaking at a media conference in Islamabad, he alleged that PTI workers were responsible for the Bannu incident.
Tarar questioned, "Do people bring weapons to protests?" implying PTI's involvement in violent activities.
He further accused PTI of being the sole reason for instability in the country, asserting that PTI is trying to blame the Bannu incident on the Pakistan Army.
"We are not interested in making anyone a political victim," Tarar said, emphasizing that the government does not wish to politically victimize any opponent. He reiterated that PTI itself was involved in the Bannu incident and blamed the party for bringing terrorists into the country.
Tarar also claimed that PTI wants to destroy Pakistan's economy. He mentioned that the internet is down in many countries and that Pakistan has nothing to do with its slow speed.
