Nasir Iqbal wins Tasmanian Open Squash Championship

Karachi: Squash player Nasir Iqbal continued his winning streak by winning the Tasmanian Open Squash Championship in Australia on Sunday.
The Pakistani athlete defeated Switzerland’s David Barnett with a 3-1 score, securing sets at 11-8, 12-10, 6-11, and 11-5 in the final match.
This victory marks Iqbal’s third title in Australia this year. He previously won the Bendigo International and Shepparton Open and reached the semi-finals of the Victoria Open.
In the semi-final of the Tasmanian Championship, Iqbal triumphed over France’s Melvil Ciani-Menko with a 3-0 score, winning sets at 4-11, 5-11, and 5-11.
These achievements follow his impressive performance in the CNS Squash Championship final held in Karachi earlier this year.
