Bucharest: Prime Minister of Hungary, Viktor Orbán, has predicted that Pakistan will become one of the world's major powers in the future.

Speaking at an event in Romania, Orbán stated that the global order is shifting, with changes originating from Asia.

He emphasized that global power will move from the West to the East and towards Russia, suggesting that in the coming decades, perhaps even centuries, Asia will dominate the world. According to Orbán, China, India, Pakistan, and Indonesia will emerge as significant global powers.

Orbán remarked that the previous transformation of the global order spanned over 500 years. Contrary to Western expectations, many countries now support Russia. Besides China and North Korea, Iran and India have also fostered good relations with Russia.

Despite being a NATO member, Turkey is aligned with Russia, and the Muslim world now sees Russia as an ally rather than an enemy.

Citing Western media, Orbán pointed out that the major issue today is the weakness and fragmentation of the West, which the Western media fails to highlight. He criticized the media's portrayal of Russia as the primary threat, arguing that Russian leadership acts logically in the country's interest.

Orbán further stated that the West's approach is neither realistic nor conducive to managing current situations. He stressed that the time has come for peace politics, a notion understood by Ukrainians and necessary for Europe before it is too late.

The Hungarian Prime Minister urged Europe to adopt a peace policy before Trump's potential return to power in the U.S., warning that failure to do so would place full responsibility on Europe.

Viktor Orbán has been the Prime Minister of Hungary for 14 consecutive years and is also the head of his party.
