Paris: Pakistani sprinter Faiqa Riaz participated in the 100-meter qualification, and finished sixth in her heat on Friday.

Faiqa Riaz completed the distance in 12.49 seconds.

Faiqa Riaz neither ranked in the top 10 of her heat nor among the next 5 overall best players, and thus failed to secure a spot in the final round of the 100-meter race and was eliminated from the event.

The second female athlete to be eliminated from the Paris Olympics today was Kasmala Talat, who competed in the 25-meter air pistol event qualification but also did not make it to the final round.

Out of the seven national athletes participating in the Paris Olympics, five have been eliminated, leaving only shooter Ghulam Bashir and Arshad Nadeem with hopes remaining.
