Flight standards, pilot licensing, and aerodrome airspace will also be a part of the Civil Aviation Authority


Karachi: A notification was issued regarding the division of the Pakistan Civil Aviation Authority (CAA).
According to the notification, three new departments have been established by dividing the Pakistan CAA.
It has been mentioned in the notification that regulatory departments will be part of the Pakistan Civil Aviation Authority. The commercial airports have been made part of the Pakistan Airports Authority and made a separate department.
According to the notification, the third department is the Board of Safety Investigation, which deals with the investigation of aircraft accidents.
Apart from this, separate notifications have been issued for the establishment of Civil Aviation, Airports Authority, and Board of Safety Investigation.
Flight standards, pilot licensing, and aerodrome airspace will also be a part of the Civil Aviation Authority, while airworthiness, air transport, and aeromedical will also be a part of the Civil Aviation Authority.
