Saud, Rizwan score centuries in Test series Day-II

Rawalpindi: The second day of the first Test match between Pakistan and Bangladesh is going on where Mohammad Rizwan and Saud Shakeel are leading the batting.

Both Saud Shakeel and Mohammad Rizwan have scored this third century of their respective Test careers.

The national team advanced the innings by 158 runs for the loss of four wickets on the second day of play. At this time Saud Shakeel and Mohammad Rizwan are at the crease and the team score is 295 runs.

First Day

On the first day of the game, Bangladesh won the toss and decided to bowl and took advantage of the new ball to dismiss Pakistan's opening three players early.

However, Saim Ayub and Saud Shakeel's half-centuries improved Pakistan's position.

Pakistan team lost four players on the first day of the game. The first wicket of the national team fell for a total score of three when Abdullah Shafiq returned to the pavilion for two runs, then the second wicket fell for a total score of 14 by captain Shan Masood who was ousted after scoring six runs.

The national team suffered its third loss in the form of Babar Azam, who was ducked out facing two balls, followed by young batsman Saim Ayub who was dismissed for 56 runs.

Sharif-ul-Islam and Hassan Mehmood took two wickets each for Bangladesh so far.
