Tesla aims to test a limited number of these robots in its factories
Washington: Elon Musk has once again captivated the tech world, unveiling Tesla's revolutionary humanoid robot, Optimus, during the We, Robot event.
Alongside the highly anticipated Cybercab, the Optimus robot is designed to handle a wide range of tasks, from simple household chores like grocery shopping and mowing the lawn to more demanding activities such as babysitting and walking.
Musk went as far as calling it “the biggest product ever of any kind,” underscoring the enormous potential of this AI-powered creation.
First introduced in concept form as Tesla bots in 2021, the Optimus robots have since undergone substantial advancements. Tesla plans to price these cutting-edge robots between $20,000 and $30,000, making them accessible for both personal and professional use.
While still under development, Tesla aims to test a limited number of these robots in its factories next year to evaluate their real-world efficiency.
Musk is confident that Optimus could significantly boost Tesla’s market value, predicting it could raise the company's valuation by $25 trillion in the future.
With its remarkable capabilities, Optimus is poised to revolutionize industries beyond the home, enhancing productivity in business environments as well.
