Pakistan administers two doses of vaccine to more than 12.5 million citizens

Officials have released a report related to COVID vaccination, according to which 10% of Pakistan's population has completed corona vaccination.

Health ministry officials say two doses of the vaccine have been administered to more than 12.5 million citizens.

Out of Pakistan’s total population of 228.57 million, about 125.85 million citizens are yet to be jabbed.

Officials say that the number of eligible people to get vaccinated in Punjab is more than 66.79 million, so far more than 5.547 million people in the province have been vaccinated.

The number of people eligible for vaccination in Sindh is 281.61 million while more than 2.17 million citizens of Sindh have been inoculated.

Per officials, the number of people eligible for vaccination in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa is 19.043 million, while the number of people who have completed vaccination touches 10.2 million.

Balochistan has the lowest rate of vaccination in the country.

In Balochistan, there are 6.45 million people eligible for vaccination whereas only 173,500 people have been vaccinated in the province.

There are 1,461,834 people eligible for vaccination in the federal capital, while 480,000 people in Islamabad have so far been able to get both doses.

There are more than 2.75 million people eligible for vaccination in Azad Kashmir. So far, 469,000 people have been inoculated in Kashmir.

 

In Gilgit-Baltistan, 1,180,484 people are eligible for vaccination while 189,500 people have completed vaccination.
