The Met department has predicted rain-wind and thunder shower in Islamabad, upper-central Punjab, upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KPK), Kashmir and Gilgit Baltistan (GB) in next 12 hours.


Islamabad: The Met department has predicted rain-wind and thunder shower in Islamabad, upper-central Punjab, upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KPK), Kashmir and Gilgit Baltistan (GB) in next 12 hours.
According to Pakistan Metrological Department (PMD), cloudy weather with probabilities of rain wind-thunderstorm is expected in Jammu Kashmir, Pulwama and Baramula while chances of rain, wind-thunderstorm and snow over mountains will prevail over Srinagar, Leh, Anantnag and Shopian in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJ&K).
Temporarily, snowfall over mountainous areas has also been predicted by Met department. While in upper KPK, upper Punjab and Kashmir, isolated heavy falls and hailstorm are likely to occur.
The weather forecast department recorded temperature of some key cities this morning, according to which Islamabad recorded 14°C.
The provincial capital, Lahore recorded 16°C while temperature of other cities have been scripted as in Karachi 20°C, Peshawar 13°C, Quetta 2°C, Gilgit and Murree 9°C and Muzaffarabad 11°C.
