Islamabad: Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, while referring to the victory of Yousaf Raza Gillani on senate seat Islamabad, said that one seat has exposed how fragile is the government of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI).

While addressing media in Islamabad, Bilawal said that there is a selected and puppet regime in country from last three years.
“Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) defeated government in senate polls and proved its relevance and importance. After playing political card of PDM, we have exposed how fragile this government is. We have exposed how fragile this fascist is. Politics is an art, it turns impossible into possible,” he said.
The PPP chairperson said that by winning this one particular seat in senate, opposition has proved that Prime Minister Imran Khan has lost majority in assembly.
“People are seeing two pictures: They are witnessing unity, harmony, democracy and working together on one side across the political spectrum, while on the other side of the screen, there is a grumpy old man who sees the end is in sight. The end is fast approaching and he is losing his senses. His frustration is visible to all,” he said.
Bilawal said that PDM had of going in public but the President of Pakistan himself has accepted that PM has lost majority vote in parliament.
“You do not call people of your own party and seek vote of confidence. We know that you have no support in public and parliament. Now we will tell you when and where vote of confidence will take place,” he said.
He further said that victories in by-elections proved people are with PDM.
On Wednesday, in the most highlighted and awaited contest of Senate elections, former Prime Minister and Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) joint candidate Yousuf Raza Gillani thumped PTI candidate Abdul Hafeez Sheikh. Gillani registered his victory from an Islamabad’s General seat.
The victory of opposition came as major blow for PTI, after which Prime Minister Imran Khan announced to take a vote of confidence from Parliament, which he successfully obtained today after securing 178 votes, six more than needed.
