Global economy following the Russian invasion of Ukraine has extended to the gold market


The price of gold in the local market of Pakistan has been increased by Rs3400 per tola over Russia-Ukraine war on Thursday.
According to All Sindh Sarafa Jewellers Association, gold price rose by Rs3400 per tola and reaches to Rs130,300. The price of 10g gold went up by Rs2,915 to 111,711.
The price of per tola silver went up by Rs30 to Rs1490 while that of 10g silver rose to Rs1,277.43 after an increase of Rs25.72.
It is pertinent to mention here that the tumult in the global economy following the Russian invasion of Ukraine has extended to the gold market, which saw gold price rising by more than $77 in the international market.
The price of one ounce of gold rose to $1972 in the international market.
