The PML-Q leader tells NA Speaker that PML-Q is bound to its commitments and will honor them fully


Lahore: Pakistan Muslim League (Quaid-e-Azam) leader Chaudhry Moonis Elahi had a telephone conversation with National Assembly Speaker Asad Qaiser on Thursday and discussed current economic and political situation in the country and issues of mutual interest.
"Speaker National Assembly Asad Qaiser sb called me and we discussed current situation. I told him that political discussions and consultations are going on . This does not mean any decision has been taken. We are bound to our commitments and will honor them fully," he said in a tweet.
Qaiser said due to better economic policies of the present government under the leadership of Prime Minister Imran Khan, the country is on the path of development, strengthening of democratic institutions in the country is essential for national development and prosperity Thanks to the country is on the path of economic development.

The Speaker National Assembly said that PML-Q has always taken decisions keeping in view tolerance and national interest. All political parties need to work together to take the country out of the challenges it faces.
Elahi on the occasion said that they are allies of the government and stand by the government, the no-confidence motion against the Prime Minister is being given the wrong impression of assuring cooperation with the opposition. Meetings of PML-Q leaders with opposition leaders are part of the political process.
Elahi further said economic indicators are positive and there is political and economic stability in the country.
Prime Minister Imran Khan has confidence in his leadership abilities.
