Federal cabinet meets today to discuss overall political, economic situation
Islamabad: Prime Minister Imran Khan has summoned the federal cabinet meeting in Islamabad on Tuesday (today) to discuss country’s overall political and economic situation.
The meeting will be held at Prime Minister’s office and Imran Khan will preside over the meeting.
During the meeting, the cabinet will discuss a 16-point agenda and give approval to State Bank of Pakistan amendment bill while the approval of appointment of Member Finance in National Electric Power Regulatory Authority (NEPRA) Applet Tribunal is also part of agenda.
As per sources, the federal cabinet will give approval to salary and allowances of the head of the Broadsheet Commission.
The cabinet will also consider the approval of donations to the SAARC COVID-19 emergency fund and ratify decisions regarding draft of 'Pakistan Institute of Education Bill 2021'.
Following the meeting ‘Islamabad Metro Bus project’ will also be briefed.
