Islamabad: The Interior Minister of Pakistan Sheikh Rasheed Friday stated that no one would be allowed to take the law into their own hands and whoever tries, will be dealt with.

While addressing a press-conference in Islamabad today, the Federal Minister—referring to Thursday’s incident of parliamentary lodges—said that whoever commits violence will be crushed.

Bringing up yesterday’s incident, Sheikh Rasheed said that the police were tortured outside Parliament Lodges.

“No one is above the law,” notified federal minister.

“Sixty to Seventy people entered the lodges, who then, changed their clothes inside (lodges),” added minister.

The police begged for almost 4 hours and negotiations were held between the two parties, Rasheed further added.

The former Railway Minister stressed that, when the culprits did not turned themselves in, then, police conducted the operation.

He, then, said that terrorism alert has been issued in Islamabad.

He reminded that Ansar ul Islam is a banned outfit. He, however, made it clear that strict action will be taken if anybody tried to take law into hand.

“No-trust motion is oppositions’ democratic right,” said minister adding that the speaker of National Assembly (NA) Asad Qaiser will call the session within 15 days.

He further added that the opposition is incapable of collecting 172 people, this is why they now wants to sabotage the motion through some sort of rumpus.

“We have completed four years, while you (opposition) have no idea of what will happen,” warned minister.

Interior Minister Sheikh Rasheed said according to the constitution, no private militia is allowed and MNA Jamaluddin and Salahuddin were sitting in the police station willingly for publicity, no one arrested them.

Thumping opposition, the federal minister said that they are struggling against Prime Minister Imran Khan ‘by personal means’ not ‘democratically’.

The Interior Minister asked the JUI (F) Chief to refrain from using the students of seminaries for political purposes.

Sheikh Rashid said Prime Minister Imran Khan has given a sovereign foreign policy.

In the meantime, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Senator Faisal Javed Khan has said that opposition was unable to bring “Vote of no confidence” instead they were trying to bring “Note of no confidence” and now they are at “Road of no confidence”.

In a tweet today, he said that this was their so-called democratic attack “Jamuhri Hamla”, adding that opposition must come to National Assembly and show their number.

“We won’t let them get away with this”, he added.
