Punjab CM Usman Buzdar meets Azhar Abbas Chandia
“The nation will never forgive those who try to create political instability”
Lahore: In a bid to save his throne, Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar has also become active as he has met a bunch of PML-N members of the Punjab Assembly who reposed full confidence in his leadership.
According to details, Punjab Chief Minister Usman Buzdar hold an important meeting with PML-N MPA Azhar Abbas Chandia. Other Muzaffargarh MPAs including Ghazin Abbasi, Samiullah Chaudhry, Tahir Bashir Cheema, and Nadeem Qureshi were also present at this occasion.
During the meeting, the political situation and ongoing development projects in South Punjab were discussed
PML-N MPA Azhar Abbas Chandia and PTI members have expressed full confidence in the dynamic leadership of the Punjab Chief Minister and are thanked for resolving the issues of their constituencies on a priority basis.
Talking to members, the Chief Minister said that the opposition is trying to create political chaos to stop the journey of development. “The nation will never forgive those who try to create political instability,” he added.
The Chief Minister Punjab said that our government has the honor of allocating 35% development funds for South Punjab. “Opposition leaders are frustrated by the apparent failure of the no-confidence motion. We will fight against each tactic and we are united under the leadership of Prime Minister Imran Khan,” he concluded.
More than 30 assembly members called on Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar at CM’s office and expressed their complete confidence over his leadership. Assembly members assured the Chief Minister that they are standing beside him and will keep supporting him in future as well.
They also acknowledge CM’s keen interest to resolve the issue of their respective constituencies. Those who met with Chief Minister include MPA belongs to PML-N Azher Abbas Chandia, Ashraf Khan Rind, Sardar Mansoor Ali Khan, Mian Alamdar Abbas Qurashi, Niaz Hussain Khan, Aun Hameed, Ghazeen Abbasi, Sami Ullah Ch., Nadeem Qurashi, Asif MAjeed, Lateef ANzer, Sardar Farooq Aman Ullah Draishak, Sardar Awais Draishak, Abd ul Rahman Khan, Ch. Adil Pervaiz Gujer, Gulraiz Afzal Gondal, Umer Farooq, Rana Shehbaz Ahmad, Ahsen Saleem Baryar, Mian Farukh Mumtaz Manika, and others. Whereas, PTI leaders Saleem Baryar, Tahir Bashir Cheema and Chief Whip Punjab Assembly Syed Abbas Ali Shah were also present on this occasion.
Matters regarding the overall political situation, ongoing development projects of Southern Punjab and other cities of the province came under discussion during the meeting. The Chief Minister said that the nation will never forgive those who tried to create political instability in the country.
"Opposition is trying to create anarchy just to stop the process of progress and development. He further stated that politics of opposition revolves around their own vested interests."
Usman Buzdar said that we are united under the leadership of Prime Minister Imran Khan and will deal with their political gimmickry. Failure of no-confidence motion is writing on the wall and PM Imran Khan will overcome this crisis and will be successful.
He said that allocation of 35 percent development fund for the southern Punjab is the hallmark of the PTI government. He also termed the allotment of 32 percent quota in the job for the southern Punjab is another historic step of the PTI government.
He said that financial and administrative autonomy has been given to the southern Punjab secretariat. These are those huge steps which endured due rights of the southern Punjab people after 70 years. The opposition wants to detrack the measures taken for the progress and prosperity of the masses by spreading political chaos and anarchy.
The incumbent government has failed the nefarious designs of opposition in the past and would do so in future as well. The disappointment can be clearly seen on the faces of the leaders of the opposition. He said that the politics of the opposition does not based on any principle or ideology.
Opposition leaders have nothing to do with the problems of the people. the public is fully aware that these are the same parties which ruined the national economy. Rejected elements are confused while seeing the country moving towards right direction. He said politics of propaganda is old tactic of the opposition.
He further maintained that the opposition is busy in political point scoring but they should regain their senses despite engaging themselves in the politics of chaos. He said that the opposition tried to create hindrance and the journey of progress and development in every critical occasion.
The government has a clear majority in the number game. Even if The whole opposition becomes united, the no-confidence motion will not succeed. He regretted that unfortunately opposition parties are busy in dividing the nation.
He said that the opposition leader has proved that he does not care about people. The opposition parties expressed irresponsible behavior even in extraordinary circumstances.
The chief minister further stated that the opposition is creating hue and cry for the last three and a half years but they should get nothing as the opposition cannot befool the people through propaganda.
The government is fully aware about the peoples’ problems and all administrative measures are being taken to cope with the price-hiking. He said that prices of essential commodities have been stabilized due to the initiatives of the PTI government.
"We have come to serve the people but the opposition is making hue and cry just to come into power. Unfortunately these elements are fulfilling the agenda of the anti-state elements by taking the country towards instability. Those who put the interest of the country at stake are not true leaders."
He strongly condemned the efforts of the opposition to divide the nation in such a critical time.
Matters regarding problems of their respective constituencies were also discussed in the meeting. Usman Buzdar assured them the early redressal of their grievances.
