PPP has conveyed the message of party leadership


Islamabad: Pakistan Muslim League-Q and MQM are ready to leave the government as Pakistan Peoples Part chairman Asif Ali Zardari stepped in to settle the matters.
According to details, PML-Q and MQM are likely to announce to join hands with the opposition over the matter of no-confidence motion against Prime Minister Imran Khan.
Sources said that the outline of the next setup has also been prepared while the office of the Chief Minister of Punjab will be given to PML-Q. The opposition parties have agreed to make Pervaiz Elahi the chief minister after the success of the no-confidence motion.
Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) has given assurances to PML-Q and a senior leader of PPP has conveyed the message of party leadership. PPP has also given reassurances to MQM-P regarding the no-confidence motion.
According to sources, the situation has worsened after the controversial statements of the ministers.
Sources said that the allies leaving the government will make a joint announcement, a formal announcement is expected from both parties on Monday.
Earlier, Veteran politician Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain chaired an important meeting of senior Pakistan Muslim League-Quaid (PML-Q) leaders in Islamabad to chalk out the party’s strategy in the wake of no-trust motion the opposition parties have brought against the government in the National Assembly (NA).
