Imran Khan in good health, taken to hospital only for eye examination: Tarar

Islamabad: Federal Minister for Information Atta Tarar has confirmed that PTI founder Imran Khan was taken to Islamabad’s Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS) for a medical examination.
Speaking to state television, Atta Tarar said that ophthalmology specialists had examined Imran Khan at Adiala Jail last week.
On the doctors’ recommendation, he was subsequently taken to PIMS, where a detailed eye examination was conducted. The procedure lasted approximately 20 minutes.
He added that following the routine medical assessment, Imran Khan was returned to Adiala Jail with the necessary medical advice.
According to Atta Tarar, Imran Khan remained completely stable during the medical procedure and is in good health.
He further stated that all prisoners are provided access to medical care in accordance with established rules, reiterating that Imran Khan is entirely healthy.
It is worth noting that reports had been circulating on social media for several days regarding Imran Khan being taken to PIMS Hospital; however, no official clarification had been issued by the government until now.
