Shehbaz Sharif wanted by court in corruption cases: Fawad Ch
He further stressed that we cannot become a nation unless the law is applied equally to the ‘rich and poor’.
Islamabad: Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf (PTI) leader Chaudhry Fawad Hussain on Monday said Pakistan Muslim League-N (PML-N) President Shehbaz Sharif is wanted by the court in corruption cases.
On his official twitter handle, Fawad said, “If he (PML-N president) was a common man, his bail would have been revoked by now,” adding that “But he is wandering in Islamabad, instead of appearing in the court”.
“His bail application is in the court,” he added.
He further stressed that we cannot become a nation unless the law is applied equally to the ‘rich and poor’.

On March 22, the defence had cross-examination of two prosecution witnesses in a reference of money laundering and illegal assets against Shehbaz Sharif and his family members.
However, the former Chief Minister did not appear before an accountability court as the defence counsel had said the PML-N leader was in Islamabad because of a no-trust move filed against Prime Minister Imran Khan.
