Young woman shot dead in Lahore's Defence

Lahore: A 24-year-old woman was shot and killed by a man in Defence C area of the provincial capital on Friday, police said.

Police said Samia Nawaz of Baghbanpura was shot in the head by suspect by Suleman. The victim died on the spot.

Police arrested the suspect and sezied the murder weapon. The body was shifted to the city's morgue.  

In another incident, a man was was killed and his brother was injured after their rivals opened fire in Sandah.

Hassan Ali lost his life. Suspects, who are on the run, entered the house of victims and opened fire. The motive for the shooting is said to be a property dispute.

Police are hunting Aamil and Kamil.
