Police foil attempt to smuggle drugs
Zafarwal: Police have foiled a narcotics smuggling big in Zafarwal by netting drug smugglers and seizing 28kg of hashish from their possession.
According to details, police arrested three accused while they were trying to smuggling hashish from Chaman to Zafarwal.
As per police officials, 28 kg of cannabis was recovered from the possession of accused. The accused were n arrested on the basis of intelligence reports.
They have been involved in selling hashish at various places in Sialkot, Narowal and Zafarwal.
According to District Police Officer (DSP) Zafarwal, two accused, who are also siblings, belong to Chaman while the third one is a resident of Sialkot.
The accused have been identified as Abdul Rehman, Ismail and Maqsood.
