According to the details, the national player said in 2017 he turned down an offer of losing a fight which was moved from the neighbouring country.
“The fixers offered me lose the world title and in return I was asked to get 1 lakh pounds,”
The national boxer bluntly said that being a true Pakistani he turned down the fixing offer however he exposed that once again he was approached to fix a world title fight.
"I want to make it clear to those who are trying to approach me for fixing that I will hit the ‘fixer’ on the face with same power I punch inside ring," said Muhammad Waseem.
It should be noted that Muhammad Waseem had won the Flyweight Boat Boxing Championship on September 13, 2019 at the Marina Boxing Hall in Dubai by knocking out the Filipino opponent, Conrado Tanamor in just 62 seconds.
After winning the championship, the Pakistani boxer attributed the victory to the people of occupied Kashmir, where the Indian government has imposed sanctions and locked down the entire valley.
