The former premier says the torture on Shahbaz Gill is an attempt to scare everyone

Islamabad: PTI Chairman and former Prime Minister Imran Khan Saturday said the party would file a case with the Supreme Court against the Islamabad police chief, the DIG and magistrate for alleged torture on Shahbaz Gill.
Addressing a rally in Islamabad, he alleged that whenever police officials were questioned about current injustice, they said they were not at fault and had received "orders from behind".
"When I asked Islamabad police that 'tell me what did you do [to Shahbaz Gill]', I got an answer that 'we did nothing, we got a boot from behind [to follow orders]'."
Khan said Gill was tortured so that he could tell that they [establishment] were above the law. "Terror is being spread to enslave people."
Khan said whatever Shahbaz Gill said was less in intensity than what Nawaz Sharif, Maryam Nawaz, Khawaja Asif, Asif Zardari and Maulana Fazlur Rehman had said to damage the institution of the army.

"I challenge you that whatever you do, you cannot stop the sea of people who want freedom. The way Gill was picked up, was tortured for two days, if a big traitor has been caught."
The PTI Chairman said if a case could be filed against Gill, a case could also be filed against Nawaz Sharif, Fazlur Rehman, Khawaja Asif and Rana Sana.
"They are going to file cases against all these people, what has been done with Gill has defied the law."
The former prime minister said that Pakistanis got freedom freedom from the British, but today those thieves were imposed on us by conspiracy.
Khan said they [the PTI government] were supressed on May 25 so that they would accept those thieves, adding "no matter how much you spread fear, whatever you do, you cannot stop the sea of people".
The former prime minister said it was a "decisive" and "very important" time for the nation, adding that if the nation cowed before "this idol of fear" then it would mean slavery.
