Covid-19 vaccination: Registration of citizens over age of 50 to begin on March 30
Islamabad: Federal Minister for Planning and Development Asad Umar has announced on Friday that the coronavirus vaccination registration for people who are 50 and above will open on March 30.

Taking to twitter, the federal minister said that the registration of those citizens who are 60 and older has already been opened.
He urged everyone who is 50 plus to register when the registration is opened for them.
On March 10, the vaccination drive for 60 above began across Pakistan. The senior citizens are being administered the Chinese Sinopharm vaccine.
Registration of those who are 50 plus for covid vaccination will be opened on march 30th. Registration of those who are 60 and older has already been open. Encourage everybody who is 50 plus to register when the registration is opened for them on 30th.

The drive kick-started in February with healthcare workers being administered the jab in the first phase.
It is pertinent to mention here that Pakistan has reported highest single-day increase in Covid-19 cases as the third wave of the pandemic continued to rage across the country.
According to National Command and Operations Center (NCOC), around 4,368 cases of coronavirus were reported while 63 people succumbed to the disease in the last 24 hours, taking the total death toll to 14,091.
The total number of confirmed cases reached to 645,356.
As many as 591,145 patients have recovered from the disease with 2,758 critical cases.
