'Any attempt to push us to the wall will have serious implications', Imran warns govt
The former prime minister says the PTI’s “jihad” is for “justice” in the country

Bahawalpur: PTI Chairman and former prime minister Imran Khan on Saturday warned the government and "hidden elements" supporting the government not to push them [PTI] to the wall, otherwise any call to supporters would have seriors repurcussions in the country.
Addressing the party workers and supporters in Bahawalpur, he said Allah Almighty has awakened this nation and now it is going to become a great nation. "The days of conscience sellers are left in old Pakistan, the days of looters are over."
"When the rulers steal the nation's money, the country is destroyed, the biggest disease of the country is Asif Ali Zardari, Maulana Fazlur Rehman uses religion for his own benefit, while Shahbaz Sharif steals and takes all the money out."
The former prime minister said three stooges (puppet clowns) were ruling the country and were unable to manage the economy. "The country's economy is shrinking and debts are increasing, they are leading Pakistan to darkness.
"I am warning the government and its [behind-the-scenes supporters] not to put us against the wall, we have endured four months, every kind of oppression was done, we won the July 17 by-elections, but were involved in more cases. A case of terrorism was registered against me because I had said that I will take legal action against those who manhalndled and tortured Shahbaz Gill."
Earlier, addressing the Lawyers' Convention in Bahawalpur, Imran Khan said no one could put the country on the path of progress until the powerful looters were brought under the law. "Rule of law means justice, justice system should be established in the country."
Khan said every year $1,700 billion were stolen from poor countries and shifted to rich countries, adding only justice could eliminate corruption.
The former prime minister said the country's constitution gave him the right to protest peacefully. "Didn't we have the right to protest peacefully?
"During our rule we never stopped Maulana Fazlur Rehman, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari and Maryam Nawaz from holding long march."
The PTI chairman said he had been fighting against corruption for the last 26 years, adding it is a war of justice. "We have to truly liberate ourselves, unless there is justice we cannot attain true freedom."
