The Islamabad administration and police will make security arrangements to maintain decorum in court
Islamabad: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan will be indicted in contempt of court case by the Islamabad High Court (IHC) on Thursday (today).
A larger bench of the IHC— headed by IHC Chief Justice Athar Minallah, comprising Justices Mohsin Akhtar Kayani, Miangul Hassan Aurangzeb, Tariq Mehmood Jahangiri, and Babar Sattar— will frame contempt of court charges against ex-Prime Minister for passing controversial remarks about Additional District and Sessions Judge Zeba Chaudhry during a rally in Islamabad.
The larger bench of the court will start proceedings of the case at 2:30 pm, the Islamabad High Court (IHC) stated in a circular on Wednesday.
As per circular, a 15-member legal team of Imran Khan, and 15 law officers from the office of the attorney-general and advocate-general will be allowed to enter the courtroom.
No one except for the above-mentioned will be allowed entry to the courtroom, unless they have the special passes issued by the IHC Registrar office, the circular added.
Moreover, the Islamabad administration and police will make security arrangements to maintain decorum in court.
During the last hearing on September 8, the IHC had decided to frame charges against Imran Khan in the contempt of court case.
