The chopper crashed during the flight last night.


Rawalpindi: A helicopter of the Pakistan army crashed in Balochistan, following which six servicemen were killed—including two major rank officers, said the military’s media wing.
According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the chopper crashed during the flight last night near Harnai district's Khost city.
The press statement read that among the six personnel were two pilots-- Major Mohammad Munib Afzal and Major Khurram Shahzad.
Pilot Major Khurram Shahzad (39), a resident of Attock, is survived by a wife and daughter, while pilot Major Muhammad Muneeb Afzal (30) left behind a wife and two sons.
The martyred also include Subedar Abdul Waheed (44), Naik Jalil (30), Sepoy Mohammad Imran (27) and Sepoy Shoaib (35).
As per ISPR, Subedar Abdul Wahid, hailed from Karak's Sabir Abad village, was married with four children, including three sons and a daughter. Naik Jalil, was a resident of Gujarat's village Bhutta and left behind a wife and two kids.
The 27-year-old Sepoy Muhamad Imran, a resident of Makhdoompur in Khanewal, is survived by a wife and three children--two daughters and a son. Sepoy Shoaib, was a resident of Attock's Khatarphatti village. He was married with one son.
The ISPR is yet to release details about the cause of the crash.
This is the second such incident in Balochistan province in less than two months.
