Karachi: The US dollar exchange rate rose on Friday— the last day of the week, clawing back some of its losses sustained during the last week of March.

At the start of trading on Friday, the Pakistan Stock Exchange, the stock market has declined, while the value of the dollar has risen.
According to the details, on the last day of the business week, the stock market recorded a decrease of 20 points in the 100 index after which the Index went down to 44,407 points.
On the other hand, according to Forex dealers, the US dollar exchange rate has risen by 30 paisas in the interbank market. The interbank dollar rose from Rs153.30 to Rs153.60.
In the interbank market, the rupee depreciated against the dollar for the second day in a row and belittled further by 0.16%. According to the central bank's data, the US dollar on Friday rose by 26 paisas to Rs153.55 in the interbank market.

The euro also cherished by 97 paisas to Rs180.86.
Similarly, the British pound rose by 26 paisas to Rs212.51 while the Saudi riyal was traded at Rs40.94.
