Bangkok: One person has been killed while 14 others sustained injuries after a trailer crashed into a pickup truck in Kanchanaburi Province in western Thailand, local media reported Wednesday.
According to the details, the incident unfolded at around 5:30 am when a pickup truck collided with an 18-wheeler trailer, resulting in many deaths and injuries.
Rescue teams and police reached the spot after getting information and shifted the deceased and injured to a nearby hospital.
During the inspection of the scene, officers had to use a cutting machine to remove the body and also found workers—a man and a woman— fell out of the car and were injured in the middle of the road.
Police, however, have started an investigation into the incident.
