PM calls PML-N meeting to discuss caretaker setup in Punjab
Shahbaz Sharif summoned the meeting at his residence in Model Town Lahore with top leadership of PML-N.
Lahore: Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif Monday called a consultative meeting to discuss political strategy regarding proposed names of caretaker chief minister of Punjab.
According to media reports, Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif called the meeting at his residence in Model Town Lahore, where the top leadership of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) gathered to discuss the matter.
Khawaja Saad Rafiq, Azam Nazir Tarar, Ishaq Dar, Ahsan Iqbal, Malik Ahmed Khan and Atta Tarar were present in the meeting.
Reportedly, PML-N supremo Nawaz Sharif and Maryam Nawaz also attended the meeting through a video link.
Earlier on Sunday, Chairman Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Imran Khan nominated three names of Ahmed Nawaz Sakhera, Naseer Ahmed Khan and Nasir Saeed Khosa for the caretaker Chief Minister of Punjab.
