Lahore: Pakistan Muslim League-Quaid (PML-Q) Thursday elected Chaudhry Parvez Elahi unopposed as party president in a meeting of general council and provincials presidents in Lahore, GNN reported.
Whereas Chaudhry Wajahat Hussain had been elected as president of Punjab and Kamil Ali Agha as general secretary of the party.
The meeting was attended by party members and other provincial delegations.
It is pertinent to note that earlier the general council of PML-Q had removed Parvez Elahi and Chaudhry Shujat Hussain from presidency of the party.
