Islamabad: The Dubai Consulate has issued a No Objection Certificate (NOC) for the transfer of the dead body of former President General (retd) Pervez Musharraf to Pakistan, diplomatic officials reported.
According to the details, the preparations have been completed to send the Musharraf’s body to Pakistan and his passport has been cancelled.
Diplomatic officials said that the body of former President Pervez Musharraf will be sent to Rawalpindi.
According to family sources, Musharraf's body will depart from Maktoum Airport on Monday at 11 am.
It is pertinent to note that former President General (retd) Pervez Musharraf passed away in Dubai on Sunday. He was under treatment at the American Hospital in Dubai for a long time.
