Prime Minister Shehbaz sharif says that no one will be allowed to take laws into own hands while the IGP has suspended two police cops over their failure to control the situation.


Lahore: Prime Minister Shehbaz sharif on Saturday took notice of a mob lynching of a man over allegations of blasphemy in Nankana Sahib district.
“The action would be taken against the police officials who failed to perform their duty,” said the PM while talking notice of the incident.
The videos of the alleged incident went viral on the social media in which a man was seen being beaten by a mob over allegations of blasphemy.

PM said that no one could be allowed to take law into their own hands, “ said the PM, summoning the report from the authorities concerned.
On other hand, Punjab Inspector General of Police Dr Usman Anwar suspended two senior cops over their failure to control the situation in Nankana Sahib.

The IGP suspended Circle Deputy Superintendent of Police Nawaz Vrik and Warburton Station House Officer Feroz Bhatti.
Last year, a mob lynched a Sri-Lanka manager and burned him alive over allegations of blasphemy.
