Russia declares Zemfira as foreign agent for supporting Ukraine
Famous singer Zemfira Ramazanova is known for her opposition to Russia's conflict with Ukraine.


Russia: Russia on Saturday nominated the country's leading singer Zamfira Ramazanova as 'foreign agent' for speaking out in favor of Ukraine.
Zemfira was born in Bashkortostan, central Russia, and began her career in 1998 and gained popularity in Russia and other former Soviet states.
Famous singer Zemfira Ramazanova was known for her opposition to Russia's conflict with Ukraine.
According to the media reports, the Russian Ministry of Justice said that the singer openly supported Ukraine and held concerts in many countries including unfriendly ones.

Singer Zamfira made statements against the special military operations and she had received help from external sources.
Last year in February, after the invasion of Russia in Ukraine, several websites reported that she had left Russia for France.
Russian citizens who were declared as 'foreign agents' were searched and punished by the Russian police, that’s why many Russian citizens were forced to leave the country.
The Ministry of Justice said that several other Russian citizens including opposition member Dmitry Gudkov, had been declared as 'foreign agents'.
