NDMA Chief lauds rescue teams for relief activities in Turkiye, Syria
The members of the teams were awarded appreciation certificates by the Prime Minister and Chairman NDMA.
Islamabad: Chairman National Disaster Management Authority, Lt Gen Inam Haider Malik has lauded the search and rescue teams of Pakistan for their successful relief and rescue activities in earthquake-hit areas of Turkiye and Syria.
He was addressing a special ceremony at the Prime Minister's Office in Islamabad to award appreciation certificates to the members of these teams.
On the instructions of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, the NDMA sent off three Search and Rescue teams from Pakistan Army, Rescue 1122 and CDA along with a medical team of PIMS to the Quake-Hit areas of Turkiye and Syria.
The Pakistani teams, during their stay in these countries performed a tremendous job and they were not only lauded in affected countries but also earned respect worldwide.
The members of the teams were awarded appreciation certificates by the Prime Minister and Chairman NDMA.
