In A YouTube address, PTI Chief Imran Khan has urged the workers to return to their homes, saying that the coalition government could make any lame excuse to run away from the elections.

Lahore: Pakistan Tehreek-e-insaf (PTI) on Wednesday delayed election rally in the provincial capital and asked the party workers to turn back to their homes.
“I ask my party workers to return to their homes, don’t take part in any mess, so they [the coalition partners] could not make any excuse to run away from the elections,” said Imran Khan while addressing the nation through the PTI’s YouTube channel.
His speech was not telecast live on TV channels following the PEMRA ban, and his party workers and police came face to face on Canal road near Zaman Park—the area where the PTI Chief lived.
He regretted that the nation was still not free and urged the people to get ready for a peaceful democratic movement.
“I know what these [the coalition partners] want and to where they want to lead the country but we want elections,” said the PTI chairman.
The PTI Chief also appealed to the Supreme Court judges for dispensation of justice at this critical moment, saying that their role was the most important for the country’s development. He also urged the legal fraternity to support the rule of law for the sake of country.

On other hand, PTI workers faced tear gas and baton-charge as they came out to take part in the pro-judiciary rally. The Canal road witnessed police action against the workers and the commuters who were on their ways also suffered during the operation.
