Lahore: The Lahore High Court (LHC) Wednesday allowed Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Shahbaz Gill to go to United States for four weeks, GNN reported.
According to details, a three-member bench heard the case headed by Chief Justice Muhammad Ameer Bhatti on the petition against the inclusion of Shahbaz Gill's name in the Exit Control List (ECL).
The court allowed PTI leader Shahbaz to travel abroad once, sighting a response from the federal government on the inclusion of his name in the ECL.
The lawyer of federal government had opposed this appeal stating that it is a federal matter and cannot be heard in Lahore, however, full bench permitted Shehbaz Gill to travel out of country.
