Pakistan completed 500 victories in their 949th ODI match.


Rawalpindi: Pakistan national cricket team became the third team in the world to win 500 matches in One Day Internationals (ODIs).
By winning the first ODI against New Zealand at Rawalpindi Stadium, the Green Shirts completed a total of 500 victories in One Day Internationals, a feat previously achieved by Australia and India.
Pakistan completed 500 victories in their 949th ODI match. Whereas Australian team has won 594 ODI matches by playing 978 matches, while India has won 539 ODI matches by playing 1029 matches.

It is pertinent to note that Pakistan has so far won four match against Afghanistan, 34 against Australia, 32 against Bangladesh, two against Canada 32 against England, three against Hong Kong, 73 against India, five against Ireland, six Kenya.
Moreover, the country has been victorious in one match against Namibia, six against Netherlands, 57 against New Zealand, 3 against Scotland, 30 against South Africa, 92 against Sri Lanka, 3 against UAE, 63 against West Indies and 54 wins against Zimbabwe.
