Islamabad: Prime Minister Imran Khan is expected to visit Karachi and Sukkur for a day on Friday (today).

As per details, the premier will first land at Sukkur Airport where he will be received by Sindh Governor Imran Ismail, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Ali Gohar Mahar and other party members.
He will inaugurate the ‘Kamyab Jawan Program in Sukkur’ and address the ceremony. After which the premier will hold meetings with party leaders and GDA members.
He will announce a historic development package worth RS. 446 billion for Sindh province during his day-long visit to Sukkur.
The package envisages construction of Nai Gaj dam which will help irrigate 28800 acres of land as well as 306 kilometer long Sukkur-Hyderabad motorway.
Under the package, gas supply will be ensured to 160 villages in the deprived districts of the province whilst provision of thirty thousand annual electricity connections is also part of it and also envisages improving the electricity transmission system which will help reduce line losses and outages.
On the same day, Imran Khan will then arrive in Karachi and attend a fundraising Iftaar for Shaukat Khanum Memorial Cancer Hospital (SKMH).
He will also chair important meetings at Governor House and then travel back to Islamabad.
