The PTI rallies were attended by party workers and supporters, who raised slogans in favor of the judiciary and against the ruling party.
Lahore: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan announced that he would take to the streets in protest if elections were not held in Punjab.
The former Prime Minister made the announcement during a rally in Lahore, the capital city of Punjab.
The announcement by Imran Khan came at a time when the PML-N government was facing pressure from the opposition and the judiciary. The government had been accused of corruption and of violating the Constitution, and the opposition had demanded that elections be held as scheduled.
PTI had staged rallies across the country in support of the judiciary and the Supreme Court. Speaking to the crowd, Imran Khan said that if elections were not held as scheduled, he would take to the streets to demand justice.

"I have been targeted twice for assassination. I will not breathe until elections are held. Our opponents are carrying out murderous attacks and no one is safe. The nation is suffering, and they do not care," he said.
Khan also urged his supporters to come out on the streets and support him in his cause. He asked them to leave their homes and show their support for the judiciary and the Constitution.

"We must all come out on the streets. We must show our support for the judiciary, the Constitution and the Chief Justice. When the Constitution is violated, the future of the country is destroyed. We must leave our homes and come out on the streets to protect our Constitution and the future of our nation," he added.
The PTI rallies were attended by party workers and supporters, who raised slogans in favor of the judiciary and against the ruling party. The PTI workers held placards and waved flags, calling for justice and the end of corruption.
I want to thank the people of Lahore for coming out in such large numbers twice in one week. I also want to thank people all across Pakistan who came out today to stand with the Constitution and rule of law. pic.twitter.com/EQAVS2972B
