DG ISPR denies any impression of imposing martial law
The Director-General of Inter-Services Public Relations, Major General Ahmad Sharif, has also dispelled rumors that any officers had resigned.

Rawalpindi: The Pakistan Army on Friday denied any possibility of martial law being imposed in the country, saying that Army Chief General Syed Asim Munir and the entire army leadership continued to support democracy.
The Director-General of Inter-Services Public Relations, Major General Ahmad Sharif, also dispelled rumors that any officers had resigned. He confirmed that the army remained united under General Munir's leadership. The statement was made during a TV program on Friday.
This statement comes in response to speculation that an officer had resigned from his post. The Pakistan Army's statement clarifies that the rumors are false, and the army is united and committed to supporting democracy.
The DG ISPR emphasized that despite efforts by internal and external challenges, the army would remain united under General Munir's leadership, and the dream of dividing it would remain just a dream. He categorically stated that no officer had resigned nor was any order given for resignation. He further confirmed that there was no question of martial law in Pakistan, as the military leadership supported democracy wholeheartedly.
