Imran Khan says he is ready to go to jail once again
The PTI Chairman says judiciary is only hope and the government is afraid of elections; they want elections if he is in jail or be killed.
Lahore: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan said that he is ready to go to jail once again. He said during his arrest he thought some people suddenly came like commandos and he thought they had come for his protection.
He expressed these words during an interview to an international news organization on Sunday.
Imran Khan said that due to the threat to his life, the judge had given him orders for his protection.
“The way they beat and arrested everyone and took me into custody was surprising. Until now, no politician has faced 150 cases,” he said.
He said, “democracy in Pakistan is at its lowest level, basic rights are being violated, and police officers broke into my house by breaking the gate,”.
The PTI chief said the judiciary is the last hope and the government was afraid of elections. They thought they would control the people, he said, adding that these people wanted the elections to be held even if he was in jail or killed."
