Islamabad: Names of more than 600 Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leaders and former assembly members, including former Prime Minister Imran Khan and his wife Bushra Bibi have been added to the no-fly list.
According to media reports, Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) stated that names of more than 600 PTI leaders have been added to the no-fly list for their involvement in the May 9 arson and encirclement incidents.
It is also reported that names of PTI leaders have been included in the Provincial National Identification List (PNIL) of FIA to prevent them from going abroad.
Other than Imran Khan and Bushra Bibi, Murad Saeed, Malika Bukhari, Fawad Chaudhry, Hammad Azhar, Qasim Suri, Asad Qaiser, Yasmin Rashid and Mian Aslam Iqbal have also been named in the no-fly list.
It is also allegedly reported that some of the PTI officials tried to fly abroad in last 3 days who were barred at the airports. D and sent by secret agencies. Police, Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) and secret agencies sent their names to prevent them from traveling abroad.
