Russia, Pakistan forges stronger trade ties: Russian Ambassador
Russian Ambassador, Danila Ganich expressed assures that both countries are expanding bilateral ties in trading terms.
Islamabad: Russian Ambassador to Pakistan, Danila Ganich, has expressed that Russia considers Pakistan a reliable partner and both countries are making significant progress in expanding bilateral ties, particularly in trade relations.
In a media interaction, the Ambassador highlighted that the trade turnover between Russia and Pakistan, which was a mere 90 million dollars in the 1990s, has now reached half a billion dollars.
He further mentioned that Pakistan and Russia have agreed to establish direct links between their cities.
Both countries are actively exploring opportunities for cooperation between the government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and the Moscow government.
